Officers of the Empire:

Tomorrow, January 1, 2006, I will be headed to Ottawa, Ontario, where I'll be staying until April. Unfortunately, DSL service is not immediately available at my apartment. They can't tell me exactly when I will have internet service, but I am sure I'll have something now and then until they can show up and set me up.

I will keep everyone informed. Already my mind has been working on an evil scheme.

Update: I've found a nice internet cafe here with good rates, and full-time internet will be installed on Friday, assuming the phone company did not lie to me about when my DSL will come.

Update: They did the install, but screwed it up. They are coming back on Sunday to fix their mistake. Idiots.
