[18:21] <FA_Pol> With the new division, a Divisional Commander should always be present. Due to his dedication and support,
[18:21] <FA_Pol> Squadron Leader Vortagh is hereby promoted to the rank of Moff, and given direct charge over the division.
[18:21] <FA_Pol> Under his leadership, I hope to see this division grow in size, hopefully benefitting the other divisions
[18:21] <FA_Pol> as a bonus. Congratulations are in order for our latest High Command member.

[18:22] <FA_Pol> #2. Naval Ranks overhaul!
[18:22] <FA_Pol> In line with recent rank changes in the Stormtrooper Legion, I am in a position to annouce a few changes
[18:22] <FA_Pol> for the Navy as well. Whilst not as drastic, they are certainly a good move. They are that we shall introduce
[18:22] <FA_Pol> two ranks for each "position".
[18:23] <FA_Pol> Generic flight members can now hold the ranks of Ensign (EN) and Ensign First Class (EF).
[18:23] <FA_Pol> Sub-flight leaders, (2-1, 3-1) will hold the rank of Sub-Lieutenant (SL) and 2nd Lieutenant (2LT).
[18:23] <FA_Pol> Squadron Leaders
[18:23] <FA_Pol> shall hold the rank of 1st Lieutenant (LT) (optional 1LT) and a new change, Lieutenant Commander (LC).
[18:23] <FA_Pol> Therefore it
[18:23] <FA_Pol> is necessary to modify the ranks of SCS-1O as well. Typically a LC was the rank on smaller ships, although that restriction
[18:23] <FA_Pol> has been lifted and there are two ranks available Commander (CM) and also Wing Commander (WC).
[18:24] <FA_Pol> Please note that these ranks
[18:24] <FA_Pol> or for all intensive purposes equivalent, but are available to award officers when no slot for promotion is available. Ranks
[18:24] <FA_Pol> will be updated this evening, and all officers will receive the lower of the two for now.
[18:24] <FA_Pol> Requests for promotion into the upper
[18:24] <FA_Pol> section will of course be accepted, and please send them to myself as soon as possible as Rear Admiral Fel is on leave this week.

[18:28] <FA_Pol> The Imperial Archives will open shortly. A little work is requried on them before the new team can go to upload the new manual. This team
[18:28] <FA_Pol> will be headed by Moff Vortagh, due to his experience with the Empire, and also *all* those who applied for the post of Imperial Archivist
[18:28] <FA_Pol> are encouraged to email him as soon as possible in order to receive details of how to proceed.
[18:28] <FA_Pol> These posts will appear as "TDA"s - or
[18:28] <FA_Pol> temporay duty assignments on the website (another feature soon to be added). A team style was selected as there is a large amount of work to be
[18:28] <FA_Pol> done. After the manual is uploaded and updated, there will be more general admin to do, and generic watching over the archives.

[18:40] <EN_Russell> XWA should be alright on XP, although I know TIE does have some problems that can be easily fixed if you know how

[18:41] <FA_Pol> OMoran: Worked for XvT on Win2k fine; if you didnt use the launcher and clicked on z_xvt____.exe itself.
