Outer Sectors Chapter 29: Blackened is the End

The Nemesis hull was spotless once again. It had required minor repairs after the last fight. One of Epsilon's fighter pilot had damage "accidently" one of the shield generators.

Commander MAR had ordered the pilot to go EV and waited that he fell in coma before allowing one of the Shuttles to pick him up. He didn't liked having to discipline pilots. But sometimes it was the best way to send a message to the whole crew.

Feeling that the Outer Sectors Campaign was nearing it's end. He would not tolerate any laziness or incompetence from his crew. Nor would he tolerate disobedience. The pilot had acknoledge his order the second he had givin it. And it's a good thing he did , since MAR had ordered the Nemesis aft batteries to open fire on the fighter. Preventing the TIE from hitting the starboard Shield Generator in one piece. Still , even in pieces , the fighter had scratched the generator and it had require minor hull sealings and some repainting.

After being recovered. And after coming out of his coma. The pilot had told in debriefing that his fighter had been hit and that he couldn't control it anymore. That didn't changed the Commander's feelings.

He would make sure his pilots were the best. Situations like this didn't happened to the best. Therefore this pilot was demoted and transfered to the cleaning crew.

The Nemesis was ready for battle once again.

Bring them on! Let's finish this Campaign!

"Commander MAR to the crew! BATTLE STATIONS!!!"
