<FA_Fel> As many of you have been aware, Vice Admiral Zwibble has been out of contact for the last two weeks. At present she is back on somewhat limited duty, but will be back at full duty shortly.
<FA_Fel> In the meantime, I, with some help from Captain Laithlis, have been processing things related to new cadets, but exams have been put on hold so that they can be marked consistently.
<FA_Fel> I am certain that Zwibble will be getting to them when she is back at full duty.
<FA_Fel> I ask for your patience on those items.

<FA_Fel> This week I will be taking the GE main Message Boards offline briefly to perform an update of the CBACK/ORION message board software. This update should be short and you may not notice it's done until after the fact...

<FA_Fel> 3) IS.net Hosting Move
<FA_Fel> It seems to be a yearly event, but once again, ImperialSquadrons.net is moving hosting companies. The current hosting company has done a terrible terrible job, resulting in a lot of downtime.
<FA_Fel> The hosting change should be taking place this week and may result in the MBs being unavailable for approximately 1-2 days, but after that everything should be normal again.
<FA_Fel> Please note that this also will affect Zwibble.com

<FA_Fel> 5) Admiral Polanski on Leave
<FA_Fel> Admiral Polanski has notified me that he will be mostly unavailable for approximately two weeks while he is on a work-related trip...

<VA_JagFel> 1. Current Navy membership is 60 (-1) Officers, with 53 (+22) Cadets in the Academy.

<VA_JagFel> Activity levels have been pretty lax across the board the past weeks, which is rather dissapointing. Everyone is back from summer, lazy days are over. But this brings me to my next point...

<VA_JagFel> 3. Navy-wide AWOL check
<VA_JagFel> As of now I am instituting an AWOL check for the entire Navy, to be concluded in two week's time. All officers are to report in to their CO (and XO where applicable) ASAP. COs are to report in to me after the two week period. I don't lke clearing the rosters out, but it needs to be done.

<VA_JagFel> 5. Ladders
<VA_JagFel> The summer Ladders supposedly closed last week, stay tuned for the opening of the Fall Ladders (if FA Fel hasn't already announced it above). Activity was low, let's see if we can't get more done this quarter.

<VA_JagFel> -Work has cut into my time, but it's still slowly moving along. Recent additions have been in the Battle editor, now with better system image support than TFW. Next step will be image export/image support for more reliable control of the system image.
<VA_JagFel> -Sometime soon I hope to move the IDMR site to the ER.net domain, since IS.net is borked in that capacity. When it doesn't finally get online again, beta versions of YOGEME will be available for download.
<VA_JagFel> -Seeing that Fel has just announced that IS is moving again, maybe I won't move it. We'll see how it goes afterwards

<LGN_Branet> As a new venture to attempt for the next little while, I am introducing the Imperial Collaborative Fiction Competition. The premise is pretty simple. I've written the first part of the story. Now you write the following parts.
<LGN_Branet> What will happen is that each week I will select the best submission and add it to the end of the story, and then everyone uses that as a base to continue from in their future parts.

<LGN_Branet> 6.- Finally, I can announce that they are for carried out 02 competitions inside the Imperial Army.
<LGN_Branet> The first, is the second edition of the Imperial Army Annual Review, where there will decide which is the best Brigade of the Imperial Army, the best Company and the most active member of our division
<LGN_Branet> . And the second competition is a campaign of recruiting of new members for the Imperial Army and for the GEER.
<LGN_Branet> Apart from the medals MoX, there will be delivered medals IVM according to quantity of new members that every candidate manages to recruit, in addition to were rewarded also all those graphic works destined for the recruiting (as posters, videos, etc).

<BRG_Burton> 1) I have begun a fast-track program to get the Army's PFCs promoted up to Lance Corporal as quickly as possible. Viper Company is the first vict... err, receipent of this program and we should see results soon!
<BRG_Burton> 2) The ICTE is running in #outerrim today and as the GE has won the last three ICTEs in a row, things are getting interesting. FA Fel will award participants once our streak has broken, depending on how well we've all played, so you could net anything up to a Bronze Star if you do well.
