Commanding Officer's log, ALT Kevin Dawe recording:

I have recieved new orders from High Command, we are to begin training exercisies immediately. Said exercises are limited to infantry training, and although Spearhead is an armoured company these exercises should still prove very useful.

This is the first time in my career that High Command has issued specific training exercises to be carried out, which leads me to the conclusion that we're gearing up for something, something big. Although infantry skills are must have for any Imperial officer, if Spearhead is going to be involved in any longterm engagement I'm going to need my officers to be familiar with their walkers. And to that end armoured exercises will no doubt be necessary before Spearhead is combat ready.

The Empire has been at peace far too long, those loyal officers who have been with us quite some time are becoming weary of the everyday mundanity of peacetime, and our new recruits come out of the academy eager to hone their new skills in combat. I look toward the near future with great anticipation, with hope that we will enter the great campaign that we have been waiting for for so long, the great campaign that will invigorate the morale of my men and bring glory to Spearhead and the Empire!
