Combat Chamber & Test pilots required!

With the new combat chamber in preparation, those with mission creation skills are most welcome to get into the editors and getting creating new missions for the Empire.

If you have finished any missions, please send them to myself and then I will check it and send it to some test pilots. They'll fly it and then tell me if its ok, else we can work on it to make it work (i.e. we'll send you the list of issues).

Once the mission is completed and works all ok, it'll be added to the GE simulations list.

However! For this to work, I'll need some pilots. Preferably those with some experience of mission creation would be great, but I'll accept any offer of assistance. If you are interested, please email me as soon as possible. Note we don't need many, so first some first served. Your time spent testing will not go unnoticed.

May the missions begin to roll in...!

Would the creation of missions involve XWA missions? Cause i'm working on an XWA battle at the moment.

Allied. That all i ever use for XWA. Besides its alright. Better than editing the code with a HEX editor.

I was, at one time, a test pilot for the new missions of the GE. It's unfortunate that I don't have them anymore, as some of them were really great fun.

It's something you might find enjoyable, especially if you've completed all the combat chamber missions already.

I think i may go through the combat chamber and start a-fresh. Its a shame i havn't got BoP. Besides it would be nice to get some live practice in. You know start the old Zayin competition again but include XWA. I know we're supposed to play on the Zone but it would be nice to do a few training nights a month. And when the ladders re-open this would be a perfect opertunity to get kills and practice in.

broman, i'm planning a little training-day for my squad. since i think we won't be that much

maybe you could join in.
if there are more interested in other squads we could extend it to a bi-weekly or monthly GE training-day ?!

I think this is something that we should organise fleet-wide. Drop me an email...

Speaking of fleet-wide competitions, is there anything currently transpiring? Any competitions, tourneys, grudges, challenges, beyond the missions?

I have a little plan up my sleeve, although its nothing major.

Of course, there is no reason why you (with or without others) can get together to create a competition...

Bro is right, AlliED is still the best XwA editor out there.
I even payed the 10 bucks for it and bought my own license of it. Great thing!
I even wrote a small howto for it that I sent to the GA. Sadly I never heard of him again.

If you guys want to, I will search for it and upload the thing.
