Legion Closure and Merge

Stormtroopers of the Legion,

Today, I come to you with news that saddens me greatly, I have served the Legion my entire career the only stormtrooper to start at trooper and move all the way to Legion Commander. The Legion has always been my home and it hurts me to have been a supporter of this coming change, but I also know that it must be done. There is hope in this, hope that within this merge, the focus of the entire group can help reform the activity and pride once seen in the Legion.

Therefore, by decree of the Supreme Commander, Fleet Admiral Polanski, with my agreement, the Legion is closed, merging with the Army. Remember you will always be Legion stormtroopers in heart...never forget that...and wherever I end up, come visit from time to time.

Good luck in the Army, my stormtroopers! I have no doubt General Jansen will treat you kindly.

Wow . . . I remember the Legion starting up, Blitz being the first combat unit, my buddy Archer being one of the original core of Troopers . . . it's a bit of a surprise to see the Legion close doors, but you guys just go and kick some ass in the army.

I also have some really bad news. School is starting and with that, there is no time for the empire in my life right now. I have sent a request for me to be transfered to the reserves. Also 2nd Lt Mitchell has served most honorably under me for a few months. I think it's time for me to step down and let the Mitchell take command. But don't worry, I'll be back next summer.

And the Academy will be in good hands with Admiral Orzon. He held the position of Prefect for nearly two years and is more than qualified to take over.
