Squadron Leader Position Open....!

Imperial Officers:

There is currently an opening for the command of Alpha Squadron aboard the Chimaera. Interested and qualified officers (ranked Ensign First Class or above) may apply by emailing both myself and Commander La Forge.

Applications should include the following:

A brief history of your career in the GE
The name of at least one officer who you have served with directly (usually squadron leader) as a reference
Your plans for leading Alpha Squadron
Why you are a better choice than anyone else who might apply.

Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate is found.

Let me play devil's advocate here for a moment and ask the obvious question in regards to the entire club: Aside from those who already comfortably rest on their higher rank, is there even *one* individual who even remotely cares?

I am sure that there are still individuals within this organization who still care enough to work their way into a leadership position. Unfortunately, I have ended up inactive both here and in the Emperor's Hammer due to real life circumstances, and am no longer qualified to move up in the ranks or dedicate significant time as I was once able to. I am sure that there are others in this same situation- ones who do care, but just cannot significantly contribute.

But, best of luck to all of you who decide to apply... even though it may only be one now.

Join the Chimaera Lieutenants' Council! Have exclusive access to the CLC Bar! Most importantly, a chance to command a squadron on the very flagship of the Imperial fleet!

La Forge: Did you give Muscat a bonus for saying that? If not, that was pretty good initiative on his part. Maybe I'll see that a few extra credits find their way into his paycheck this period.

My congrats to our newest leader of squadron, LT Stark!!
LT Stark was one of my best pilots in the squadron Epsilon. He took an excellent service as SL in the squadron Gimel, and now, undoubtedly, he will realize an excellent work as leader of the squadron Alpha.
