Chief Engineer's Report: 2007.11.12

Okay, so these definitely haven't been written in a long time. Looks like a year and a half. So I've been busy :-P

For the first time, officers can now download the current YOGEME build instead of just looking at screenshots. Yes, it does actually exist! Doesn't do briefings yet, and the map interface is more of a display than anything else, but everything else works (as far as I can tell). Eventually I'll put together a readme, now that potentially other people will be at least toying with it.

Work on the TF Control Ship has slowed, mainly due to the work I've been putting into YOGEME and other utilities. I've made a couple other programs that I won't be publishing as they are for my use as I dig deeper into the workings of the games.

Also sometime in the future I'll be publishing file format documentation regarding mission and resource files. When enough of the resources are decoded, it will be possible to completely reskin TIE. Beause I'm working on the TIE95 portion of YOGEME, my work has been concentrated on TIE for now, but XvT and XWA will have their turn...
