This program is for mission developers to easily port their missions to other platforms.
Conversion only works one way, from older to newer platform; TIE to XvT, XvT to XWA, and TIE to XWA.

Minor tweaking to values such as goal scores may need to be tweaked to suit your needs, and definitely reduce the AI of capital ships if converting to XWA. Past that, everything including briefings should work as expected.
