GE Officer Profiles
All Imperial personnel have a public profile stored within the Empire Reborn's database... Your GE Officer Profile or "GEOP" maintains your personal contact information, and also serves as a permanent record of your accomplishments within The Galactic Empire, including ranks, medals, certifications, and service history.
GEOPs are currently accessible by clicking individual names on the
official rosters, or directly via http://www.empirereborn.net/profile.php?pin=PIN, where PIN is the officer's unique identification number...
For example, Fleet Admiral Tiberius Fel's GEOP (PIN 155) may be accessed here: http://www.empirereborn.net/profile.php?pin=155
Additionally, all personnel are assigned a random and changeable AuthCode (essentially a password to the Empire Reborn database). Using your PIN and AuthCode, you may log into GE Administration: a restricted area of the domain that allows you to update your personal information, and perform other tasks within your security clearance.
Officer Identification
To streamline inter-personal relations, each officer possesses a unique ID–Line: a short string of text that includes information such as the officer's name, rank and station.
ID–Lines enable any officer to fully identify any other at a glance, and allow for swift processing of paperwork. For this reason, you must use your ID–Line to sign all official communications, including e-mails and message board posts.
Your ID–Line is also a personal source of pride, as it allows you a formal method of displaying any medals (or certain other honours) that you have earned.
You may retrieve your own current ID–Line at any time by viewing your GE Officer Profile.
Information on how to read ID–Lines within a given section of the Empire is detailed within the section's own training materials, although most ID–Lines follow this basic format:
[RANK] [NAME] / [UNIT] [POSITION] / [PHYSICAL UNIT] / [SECTION]
