Imperial Army: Ranks: Sergeant

Corporals with the ability to command are often recognized with a promotion to Sergeant (SGT). At this point, an officer becomes one of the more senior troops in a company.

Officers who have obtained the rank of Sergeant have shown themselves to not only be active and diligent in their duties, but extremely loyal to their Company. At this point in their career, many officers begin to take the next step and look towards becoming a commissioned officer. Some, however, elect to remain a non-commissioned officers and may advance further to Staff Sergeant.
